Almost every piece we make is handmade on site, using traditional methods and the finest ingredients — because we believe chocolate should be an experience, not just a treat.

Our Story
Ruben D. discovered his true calling in the world of chocolate after graduating from the prestigious Ter Duinen Hotel School in Koksijde. What began as a journey through the hospitality industry soon transformed into a deep passion for chocolate craftsmanship. That passion eventually led him to the heart of Bruges, in the charming Wollestraat.
The Chocolalino atelier has a rich history, dating back to 1985. Under the guidance of his predecessor, master chocolatier G., Ruben refined his skills further through a specialization at SNT Bruges. Armed with experience and a clear vision, he set off on his own chocolate journey.
Chocolalino originally opened its doors on Walplein, but the COVID pandemic forced us to relocate. Today, our shop is nestled in Wollestraat – just across from our workshop, where the real magic happens.
